Third poem in sonnet 18 style

He ran with haste 'til he'd no more breath,

Deprived at night of his stilled heart's death;

On hearing a phrase his steps would take wing,

To gaze upon her without stop or thing.

He reached the summit with speed and bravery,

Each fear in his soul had been held captive.

Her words conjured spells of strange enchantment,

Till finally view of her deemed an augmentation.

She stood before him dressed in purest white,

Beauty to his heart brought extraordinary light.

Their eyes did lock in embrace and mark,

A blush across her face like a welcome lark.

He raised his head to examine her fair hue,

But coyness seemed much too strong for joining the two.

A gentle breeze blew between them then so sure,

Like doves their souls embraced 'mongst allure.

He pulled her close that they might remain true,

Their souls united as one sweet oath anew!

In valleys distant dulcet songs rang out true,

Their love transcending any language so pure!
